About the cocktail

The history of the cocktail Cosmopolitan is quite controversial. According to the World Association of Bartenders original recipe is based on Absolut Citron, famous vodka with lemon flavor. Some sources say that the bartender Cheryl Cook of South Beach, Florida has created the cocktail, though it has already been served in gay bars in the late 1970s and early 1980s. In an online interview, Cheryl Cook confirmed that cocktail Cosmopolitan was created in 1985 and 1986.

Ingredients

60 ml Vodka
30 ml Cointreau
30 ml Fresh lime juice
30 ml Cranberry juice
Carambola or orange slice for decoation

Instructions

Mix all ingredients into a bartender shaker with ice cubes. Shake very well and pour the drink into a cocktail glass. Decorate your Cosmopolitan cocktail.
